Blue Team Boot-Up
🚀 Blue Team Boot-Up#
Breaking into cybersecurity is tough — many entry level jobs want “2-3 years of experience” putting many applicants in a catch-22 situation.
My service offering Blue Team Boot-Up shows you how to package your transferable skills, homelab deployment experience, certifications and self-study into a strong resume, LinkedIn profile, and interview presence. I also provide you with outreach scripts to start real conversations with recruiters and analysts already in the field.
I can help you start showing up as a credible cybersecurity candidate. My coaching will focus on increasing your chances of getting you an entry level position within cybersecurity. In many cases it will end up being as an analyst within a Security Operations Center. When it comes to an entry level cybersecurity job, most likely it will start at the SOC due to availability and need for network defenders. Hence the name “Blue Team Boot-Up” (blue for defender).
I emphasize, cybersecurity is not an entry level job when it comes to IT and computers, but in reference to cybersecurity itself, blue team or some type of an analyst role is the most common entry level pathway.
Your job hunt / cyber growth journey may take some time until you can finally land a position especially in 2025, but if you want to work in cybersecurity, the wait and the grind is worth it!

💡 Who This Is For#
- Career changers trying to land their first cybersecurity role. This will be very difficult if you have little IT knowledge/experience but I can help guide you and try to keep you motivated atleast.
- IT/help desk professionals pivoting into security.
- New CompSci/cybersecurity grads who need to present themselves as credible entry level cybersecurity candidates with the tough competition they’ll be facing.
- Anyone frustrated by “you don’t have enough experience” rejection messages
🏆 Why I Built This#
We all know the Catch-22 in hiring practices, especially cybersecurity: “You need experience to get hired, but you can’t get experience without getting hired.”
This can be a false dichotomy. You don’t have to get hired to get experience, you can get experience through so many different means, especially considering the abundance of cybersecurity learning materials we have in 2025.
I worked at Walmart for a bit after I was laid off from my cybersecurity job for a year and half. I had to work really hard and smart in navigating the rough tech market of 2023/24/25.
I broke into SOC by building a portfolio, refining my resume/LinkedIn, talking to the right people and learning how to tell my story in interviews. I learned to be authentic and credible through my presence. Now, I want to coach others on the same path — giving them the structured guidance to get their foot in the door.

❓ FAQ#
Q: Do I need prior cybersecurity/computer experience to utilize your service?
Not necessarily. The more knowledge and practical experience you have of networking/cybersecurity, the easier this process will be for you, but I can meet you where you’re at with your skill/experience level and help you “level-up” to where you need to be so your chances of getting hired increase in this tough job market (as much as I can in 2025 lol). You’ll learn how to leverage labs, coursework, certifications and other transferable skills so you can show that you have credible SOC/cyber experience. More importantly I can teach you the soft skills on how to express your hard skills and what you bring to the table so that your chances of getting an interview increase.
Q: What if I’m not technical yet?
I will show you how to highlight soft skills and start building technical confidence piece by piece.
Q: Can you guarantee me a job?
No one can. But I guarantee you’ll walk away with a much stronger application package and clearer interview strategy than most entry-level applicants.
Q: What’s the refund policy?
No refunds as of now. If you’re not happy with the service, let me know and I might be able to offer a partial refund. It takes a lot of effort/time to come up with this on my own and starting off its a bit tough to have a solid refund policy for my clients.
